Medley's Approach

Diversity & Inclusion

Our Approach

Medley pursues a wide range of businesses and projects driven by technology, guided by its mission to shape the future of healthcare.

The healthcare sector is characterized by high public responsibility, extensive regulation, and complex structural factors, making transformation inherently challenging. Addressing these challenges requires a deep understanding of the diverse perspectives and roles of all stakeholders involved—including patients and caregivers, healthcare and long-term care providers, as well as governments and public institutions—and a commitment to long-term engagement.

Based on this belief, Medley recognizes that respecting diversity in all its forms and understanding individual values and identities are essential for an organization operating in the healthcare domain. Such an approach not only benefits a wide range of stakeholders but also contributes to solving the fundamental challenges facing the industry.

Embracing diverse talent and working styles encourages open dialogue and the emergence of new ideas, creating an environment where innovation can thrive. At Medley, experts with diverse strengths collaborate to identify essential issues and develop products that thoughtfully consider both customer and patient experiences—products that contribute to shaping the future of healthcare.

Since 2023, Medley has expanded its presence to the United States and the Philippines. In the United States, the recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals have become increasingly challenging amid demographic aging, with workforce shortages reportedly exacerbated by COVID-19. Leveraging the healthcare × IT expertise cultivated in Japan—one of the world's most advanced aging societies—Medley offers the job platform Jobley in the U.S. By bringing together experts from around the world, Medley seeks to address healthcare challenges both in Japan and globally.

Medley positions diversity and inclusion as essential elements of its organization, actively incorporating diverse perspectives and ideas to drive continuous innovation. Medley believes that an environment where every individual is recognized, trusted, connected, and able to access information—regardless of personal attributes or work-related constraints—enables people to fully apply their abilities and thrive.
